It's a map that plots the location of your properties, and gives an icon showing the price of the property. This way, visitors to your website will know exactly what properties are available in what area immediately, instead of looking at a list of properties and wondering where that address is. There is a sample of the program here on this website. It is highly customizable to suit your needs. has a challenge called the Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin' Challenge, where you must eat twelve chicken wings smothered in their Blazin' Sauce in under six minutes.

Just how hot is their Blazin' Sauce? I e-mailed prior to going there and asked if they could give me a list showing the Scoville Heat Units (SHU) for each of their sauces. The Scoville Scale measures the amount of capsaicin in a chili pepper, or how hot it is. The higher the number, the hotter the pepper. In comparison, a Bell pepper has no heat, and is listed as 0 SHU, the average Jalapeño pepper is about 5,000 SHU while a Habanero pepper ranges from around 100,000 to 350,000 SHU. One of the hottest hot sauces I've ever used, Endorphin Rush, rates about 33,900 SHU. I got a reply from Danielle, from Buffalo Wild Wings, who told me their Blazin' Sauce rates at 170,000 SHU or higher.

When we got to Buffalo Wild Wings, I asked if they could give me a small sample of the sauce, so I would know what I was getting myself into. I tasted the sauce, then tasted it again and looked at Cindi, my fiancée, and said, "I can do this." I ordered the wings, and as I began the challenge, I realized they were straight out of the fryer... they were still steaming. It wasn't the heat from the spice that was burning my mouth, it was the temperature of the wings. No matter though, I was on the clock, and there was no way I was not going to complete this challenge. I had six minutes to devour all twelve wings, and as my taste buds went numb, I was downing wing after wing. I was half way done in just two minutes, and my mouth was in pain (from the temperature), but I kept pushing on. I completed the challenge in just over five minutes.

I had an order of mozzarella sticks standing by to help cool my mouth afterwards, but unable to eat them because the breading on them was irritating my the roof of my mouth, which was raw from the heat of the wings. So, I finished my beer and drank a glass of water instead.

Since I completed the challenge, the wings were free, and I was given a free t-shirt that said "Blazin' Challenge Survivor" on the front and "It's like walking on hot coals, except you eat 'em" on the back along with the Buffalo Wild Wings logo.

To be honest, my stomach didn't feel so good afterwards, but I'm still glad I did it. I didn't touch any spicy foods the next day, but the following day, Cindi made her famous Habanero Chicken Alfredo for dinner. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://blog.boonemultimedia.com/2011/07/man-vs-food-blazin-challenge.html' title='Man vs Food: The Blazin' Since then, I've added several more and have already had over 5,000 downloads. These apps are marketed under the name "Robomuse" (short for ROnnie BOone MUltimedia SErvices). Here is a brief summary of the apps on the market at this point...

5-Letter Words
You start with a random 5-letter word and five randomly chosen letters. The object is to change a letter in the 5-letter word with one of the random letters to form a new word. How many new words can you create?

4-Letter Words
I decided to make a new version of the 5-Letter Words game to make it a little easier.

All Zeros
Every time you click a number, it and its surrounding numbers decrease by one. The object is to make all the numbers zero. Careful though... If a number is already zero, it will change to 3 if it or a neighbor is clicked.

Binary Clock
This is a simple digital clock that shows the current time in binary format.

Freebird
Next time you're at your favorite concert, and the band plays a ballad, you'll be ready... even if you don't own a lighter.

Grocery Calculator
This app will help you calculate how much you're about to spend, even before you reach the register. The paid version includes a calculator for items sold by weight, and a receipt to show all the items entered so far.

Military Ribbons
A list of all ribbons awarded by the United States Armed Forces, including photos of each ribbon.

Nature Search
This is a version the classic memory game where you flip two tiles, with nature photos taken by yours truly. If the tiles match, they are removed. If not, they flip back over. Once you remove all the tiles, a larger nature photo is revealed. Game play is 36 tiles laid out in a 6 x 6 grid.

Nature Search Jr.
This is an easier version of the Nature Search game, great for kids. This version has 16 tiles laid out in a 4 x 4 grid.

Paint It Black
Each time you click a block, all the blocks in that row and column change colors. The first app I developed was one that will allow you to speak, rather than type, to send a text message. From that idea came another where you could speak to add items to a grocery list. The first app also gave me the idea to create one that would take a received message and read it to you. Then I got the idea to combine the two, and added a feature to the app that reads texts that will allow you to speak your reply rather than type. I want to add a database to this app so that it will store your received and sent messages, but for now, it's working really well. I also created one more, just for fun, that has a cowbell with the Tampa Bay Rays logo on it. When you tap the cowbell, or shake your phone, it makes a cowbell sound. I've got a fever, and there's only one cure. I've gotta have more cowbell!

Android App Development

I have been working on programming a new application for Android based phones that will allow you to speak instead of typing to send a text message. After about a week or so, I couldn't understand why anyone needed it. It wasn't that much different than your status message in Facebook or MySpace... or at least that's what I thought. I deleted my account and gave up on it. After some time, I thought things over, and decided to get back into it... not so much as a way of tracking my friends, but as a way of promoting my business. I figured the more sites out there where my business is exposed, the more chance someone would see it. So, a few weeks ago, I created a new Twitter account, and started following a few pages. Later, I found out about a nice program called TweetDeck. With TweetDeck, you don't have to have your Twitter page open and refresh it to see the newest tweets. It does the checking for you, and lets you know when someone you're following posts a new tweet. What I've learned is that Twitter is not only a good way to follow your friends, but a great way to get information delivered to you quickly, as it happens. For example, I'm following the official Twitter page of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I learned about the firing of their offensive coordinator before any of the news organizations posted anything about it. From some other pages I'm following, I learned about a brand new app available for my cell phone the day it came out. I get weather alerts immediately as soon as their posted. I even found out about a new version of Facebook called Facebook Lite the day it was released. I'm not so sure I want to follow all my friends on Twitter... I have Facebook for that. But as far as information is concerned, Twitter, when paired up with a program like TweetDeck, is probably one of the best websites ever created. The page then calculates the charges, including tax, when you do a search for the room they want and the length of stay.
